My girls car has been overheating for the last two weeks. I have tried almost everything and have a feeling that it's the head gasket but would rather see other people's opinion b4 taking the head off the block. Things that I have done:flushed radiator and heater core and added new antifreeze and changed the thermostat to a failsafe thermostat.I changed the fan since I believe that the original one was faulty.there are no leaks anywhere but the motor is building too much pressure and it's dumping out the coolant out the reservoir.fan works cuz I do hear it going on n off.radiator is not leaking and we do get heat inside the car. Today I received ancheck engine light and it read missfire cylinder 1&3. If I drive it today and park it and then I open the radiator cap lets say tomorrow,I hear pressure rising from the radiator. The oil still looks clean but the oil cap does look a little funny. So like I said b4,my guess is head gasket but I rather see other people's opinion.

Barely smokes. I guess I can say that It smokes a little bit on start up but then again which Honda doesn't. The radiator is flowing since I flushed it out and also the heater core. Flows nice n smooth.Originally posted by knuckk@jdmdikk only dude i would take advice from.

im gunna go with headgasket as well, coolant must be getting on the top of the pistons causing it to misfire. but the no smoke thing is weird. i mean its a single cam so you might as well do the headgasket, it only take a few hours.Honda sucks. Over priced junk.
