So here's the deal. I have a 2001 civic ex 4dr 5 speed and my battery light comes on and off randomly. I tested my battery and alternator and they both came out good. I checked all grounds and connections and I have good belt tension. I also noticed it would only come on when its warm outside and never when its cold. I can't figure out what it is and this has happened to me before with my old teg so I figured it must be a Honda thing lol help me out ctv!

Alternator is about to fail, happen with my da. I bet when you drive it at night and have your music on with your lights your shit is gonna light up. Start lookin' for an alternator.

i checked when it was off, it just flashes on and off randomly but the same thing happen to my teg and i replaced the alt and all that and i was still having the same problem.

it only comes on during the day when its warmer. never at night or when its really cold.

my old da did that too,and my sentra did that too,i flipped the headlights and some music on and my light went on and off..
