I have a d16y8 that im ready to boost at 5 psi, later i will build it to boost at around 15 or 20, but never the less i dont wanna spin a bearing which i here the y8's are infamous for due to poor oil lubrication which i believe is in the block. What would be the best way to not spin a bearing, y8 head z6 block? or z6 head y8 block, or is there another way any info would be great, thanx

its due to the actual oiling holes for the crank..every d-series has 2 oil ports per crank bearing besides the y8 which only has one per bearing..so you could open up the holes on the y8 and make them bigger thus allowing more oil to get to the bearings..or swap to a z6 block!!!!!ThE GoOd DiE YoUnG!!!!!
