  • Need Help Asap!!!!!!

i got a 2000 civic automatic which i have tranny problems.

ok dis wht happened i put a new exhaust and it was a cheap ebay exhaust (which i will never do again) and the hole for the O2 sensor was facing down so stupid me i put the sensor and the car is lowered so i was driving and hit a bump and the sensor scrapped of course and the D on the cluster started flashing and the tranny started to act up. so i looked up some info and it said to change the tranny so i did and it worked fine so then i put regular suspension on so the O2 sensor wont hit nothing but tht didnt work so it happened again and now the same issue but now it wont charge . i just want to knw wht it could be. it seems like it some electrical problem?????

I hope you made a typo. If you changed your tranny because of a electrical issue you don't need to be working on your own car. Because i doubt a manual told you to change the tranny lol

Do you have a check engine light? Try reseting your ecu/undo your battery. Because if I had to take a random guess it sounds like when your sensor hit the ground it shorted out and may have fucked with the ecu.

ok uhmm... go to an exhaust shop and have them cut out the part where the hole is for the o2 sensor and have them make it face upward for starters.. then get a new o2 sensor and put it in. after all that re-set the ecu and then give that a try....your car will run like shit without a faulty/no o2 sensor.....trust me i know first hand
