single cam problem

a buddy of mine was told that he had 2 replace the sensor behind the intake maifold i think its an iac on his auto ej8 because the manifold was off a standard car cause the engine replaced was wondering does it really make a difference jus wanna double check wit ppl on ctv and would it be cheap 2 buy the sensor new would really appreciate da help

doesnt matter leave it unless the sensor is bad then change it

The only thing I can think of that someone woulda told you to change it is cuz some are 2wire and some are 3 wire. Other then that they are all the same.

If it is a y8 intake manifold some of them hqve air ports on each Finn and if not addressed right will cause a vacume leave and idle crazy

96 ex auto would da throttle body be different from standard sensors wise cause th eproblem wit the maifold was a sensor didnt match up and my boy said it cause u gotta change both from an auto
