    Ok so my y8 has a spun bearing i was just wondering could i just change the bearings or do i have to get the crank re surface 2

            i dont know i didnt check it yet ima take it apart today the motor ceased already though is it still possible to fix?

              If it seazed then ur cranks gotta be shot. It's easier/cheaper to buy a new motor honestly.

                    the prob is you can changer the bering and or the crank and that is not always the issue the d16y8 has known oiling issues so most likely it will happen again. the oil pump is weak in them and the oil ports are small and shitty. get your self a z6 and do the crank sensor jumper and run that
