dpfi to mpfi confusion

is it possible to do the mpfi without having to do the dizzy or is it required....ur help is greatly appreciated thanx

u need a mpfi dizzy if your going to mpfi.

you have to swap it there is a pick up in the dizzy the ecu will look for with out it then it wont run. the mpfi is a 7 wire dizz the dpfi is a 5 wire dizz
