How long can I leave the valve cover off with out fucking somthing up ?

Just cover it with a cloth or rag (Make sure there is absolutely no debris on what ever youre covering it with) and you should be good for a long timeComment

i dont think theres a time limit just dont let dirt and dust get in there. if u have to leave it off just cover it as best as u canComment

i got one and can paint it any color you want for $45... so you dont have to worry about leaving the head uncovered.

heres one i just did... hi temp so it dont crack or chip and i wire brush before painting.
