yo man i'm doing a mini-me for my daily driver right now
i have a '95 cx hatchback that i got for $750 that needed a head gasket. i figured, phuck it, i have a d16y7 motor (most torque from any d16 block) that burns oil because of the valve seals, and a fresh d16z6 head straight outta the machine shop with brand new seals
some call it a mini-me. i'm calling mine an LX/VTEC lol
so, i decided to put this on the engine stand and build one up really quick. i'll take pics as i go, but you will need:
p28 ecu
full z6 or y8 head (should have the solenoid on it)
wiring to go to the ecu to your vtec solenoid and vtec oil pressure switch (look on h-t for pinouts)
if you have a cx like i do you will also have to wire up a 4-wire 02 sensor
sohc vtec timing belt
you will have to remove the oil orifice tube on the block
new head gasket set and head bolts
