well i just finished putting my built zc in my 91 hatch and it wont idle straight. itll idle down a lot or even stall out. and also it over heats when at cruising rpms or at idle but cools way down when the rpms are up past 3k...

timeing is off and the coolent sould like it is low or sticky theromostat

brand new thermostat...doesnt mean its not bad i suppose...but coolant is deffly full.

mine like pulsated when i did my swap. you gotta get coolant into the block. its prolly got air bubbles lol

i dont think theres any air in it cuz it took almost 2gal of 50/50 coolant

all it takes is one little air pocket to mess it up. alos what ECU do you have on it?

You need to make sure you bleed your coolant into the engine..

But everything else sounds like your timing

so you have the ZC ecu? do you have the cam sensor wired in?

the coolant is def in the block, i was there and did it myself. the over heating makes no sense

no its defly the timing. i was playing wit the mechanical timing and its a lot better now...i need a timing belt cover for a zc...anyone got one???

did you wire in the cam sensor next to the dizzy?

yes i did, everything is fine. that would just throw a code and i have no cel on so its all good
