i have a 88 honda crx with a obd1 jumper car runs, when i give it gas it pops and spits bad car wont go over 3500 rpm i already changed the "map" does anyone have any ideas help me out please

I just had a similar problem it was my ecu.. it could also be your throttle position sensor I believe

I guarantee your ecu is throwin codes. Pull em and you'll know what's wrong. Then you replace those parts and your shit will be str8. I am thinking you have a bad temp sensor and need to recalibrate your tps but if you are throwin parts at it without pulling codes you are wasting your time. Also did you check to make sure the map you put in was good?

i think your exhaust bearing is fuckin up the ecu and throwiing it off and maybe your low on blinker fluid and the sensor is going crazy
