auto. tranny wire harness on std. tranny?

can i use a auto tranny wire harness,on a standard tranny swap,what about the ecu/ do i have to change any of the plugs?

I am pretty sure you need a different ecu to go auto-manual. I know there is the interlock for shifting the auto trans into drive...and I think there is something else the auto ecu does that is not desired. I am pretty sure the wiring harness is fine. As long as the sensor for the reverse lights hooks up.

my boy told me the samething about the light...i have the ecu,but besides that i should be in the clear?

I think with the manual ecu you should be set...you'll have a plug or two that went to the auto trans that you won't hook up but that's about it.
