Just get some wire from radio shack or some place like that. One of the wires goes to the ground on the engine, one goes to pin a4 I think , and I don't remember where the last one goes. Gotta look that one up but it is very easy. I recommend you solder all the wires to make sure you have good connections. Otherwise it may not pop every time or it will cut on and off. soldering and heat shrinking is your anti-wire gremlin friend. If you don't want to do the harness I would think you need an obd2 ecu and a y8 dizzy for it to work properly. I think you can get the harnesses for $100 from a few places...or even make your own using h-t or d-series.org

Humper harnesses are all over ebay...and here's your vtec shit:

blue/white wire to slot D6 on ecu
solenoid ground to chassis ground

Also I think the y7 and y8 share the same weak oil pump...if the z6 is solid I would just put that in personally. Otherwise you'll have to buy a new head gasket, new head studs, and it will probably be equal amount of work.Last edited by astroboy; 02-13-2010, 10:35 AM.My work: Flikr.
