Just wondering a kid has a civic for sale with a CRX Si motor it in...port nd polished, cam, cam gear, racing clutch...sounds good? i usually do b series but im lookin for something different..how do they hold up? are this motors strong for turbo if obviously built right.?

the crx si engine is the d16a6 (sohc) but the d16a1 is a dohc engine that came out of the 89 integra. Any motor can be boosted but it all depends on your goals and your TUNE!Ef/Ek/DC5 -
the d16a6 is the best sohc in my opnion that they made and can make fun power stock or with a cam .RIP Nick

yeah lol right after i posted this i used wikipedia nd it told me the si has the d16a6..but i didnt get a chance to go see it yet but hopefully runs well, alot better then my DA with the bad rods..lol
