cv axle question

just stumbled acroos a new car happens to be a eg coupe nd the car leaks tranny fluid from the axle but like when i mean leaks im mean that shit bleeds like it got shot up by a ak type deal shits bad nigga i got it from says its a "cv axle seal" to my knowlege the only "seal" is the boot past that it aint shit but metal to metal... the motor on it a is d15 could it be that they used the cv axles from a ef and it dont line up right???

i could b that or some1 didn't put the axle in properly...or try taking it out and checking the seal between the axle and the tranny there should b 1 there if i can recall not shure tho but i hope this helps

thanks bor yea ima give it a shot see what i can do but either way would it leak tha badly not 2 mention it makes like a grinding sound also

either ur axle isnt in the tranny all the way or the axle seall is fucked or just not there where the axle goes into the trans

oh yo it could be the little ring on the shaft that goes inside th tranny thats a seal if that bad or missin it leaks like u said
