ok so i built a mini me swap it runs but it misfires i did the timing right and changed the plugs and the wires are brand new and i know the dis is good so what could it be ...?

when u do mini me dont u have to use adjustable cam gear to get the timing right ?

fuckin honda's i think im just get a new 1.6 i have a feeling eaither the head is shot or the block is shot

yes you have to play with cam timeing.

you are on a 1.5 block with a 1.6 head you need to run a shorter timeing belt to make up for the lower deack hight and you have to runa d16y8 cam gear to make up for the half a tooth difference in the time belt.(the key way on a y8 cam gear is off set to make up for it)

a new came gear form the dealer is 23 bucks.

Yeah but it would not make it mis fire and sound like a subie ....i have had timeing off like 3 teeth and it dont run like that

I already have the 1.6 timing belt so its not that

bad injector or spark plug

you have to have a 1.5 timeing belt on it! it has a shorter deck high so youhave to run the shorter belt.

and yes if it is a tooth or half it will sould like that and if it was off more then that you have a bent valve

try puttin a timeing light on it mostlikely it will be way out of wack
