    Ok so I was reinstalling my valve cover today and I snapped one of the bolts.. is this bad? Or

      He snapped the stud, but the head isn't ruined, he didn't strip the head.

        buy it new from the dealer its cheap and easy to install

          yeah i acutally did the same..

          The stud is about like 6 dollars.. Go order it from honda, you will be all set.

            Yes as in I went to loosen it and it broke.. so the stud can be pulled up but won't come out.. so the threaded part is prob still in the head..

              I'm just worried it'll happen to the others because I tightened them a lot and the one I tried to loosen snapped

                the whole stud is intact up until where its like a washer type thing to keep it from going in to much.. so this means just the threaded part is in there.. am i ************ed? how will i get it out?

                    it's easy. take the valve cover off. Look, and you'll be able to figure it out from there.

                      gonna do it tomorrow.. while im at it im gonna get the gasket kit for the cover a new stud and a torque wrench

                        that was going to be my recomendation. replace it and look up the torque specs for it... if you havent already goetten it out borrow a buddies screw extractor... i had to do it before... not a big deal... good luck
