HELP! lsd + b series gears?

A friend of mine has a d-series tranny. It has a b16 first gear, gsr 2nd and 3rd and ls 4th and 5th. And i guess there is a lsd in there too.
my first question is can b series gears fit in a d series tranny?
next-how can i tell if there really is an lsd in it
and is it worth it to spend $400 on it?

i would not buy it sounds like BS you can look threw the hole where the axles go in if you can see threw it you have LSD if you see the bar across the hole inside you have stock!

I don't know much about trannies but that sounds like bullshit to me I've never heard of putting b series gears in a d series housing.

unless he has paperwork to prove work has been done and you can test drive it and it has a lsd in it them yes it is worth the money but buyin a unknown tranny for that kinda money is stupid it sould be filled with sand for all you know.

SIR that will be a no no and another NO on top B-series gears Do not mate in a D-series Tranny. Tell that dude or chickk to put it up for sale on Honda-Tech or B20Vtec.

I have never heard of that ever just get an ls if you want a bseries tranny

No it wont fit but if u really serious about fitting a B-series Tranny in a D then Evolution industries/Bisitomo got wat u need a full kit with adapter plate, flywheel and mounts and thats in the 1400.00 range.
