  • obd1 motor in obd2 civic

    i swapped my y7 for a z6 and its all in and starts up but when i press the throttle the car dies out. I have an aftermarket fuel rail but not the regulator,pump or injectors. do u think that could be it??? also when it startes up the rpms read over 8000 but i hooked up the meter to the first plug wire and its rele idling fine.any help??? it has an obd2 harness with a p28 ecu with jumper harness...please help

    tps and map sensor plugged in backwards. Swap plugs and it should be fine. Thats exactly what the problem sounds like.

        now i noticed my tps is broken off the throttle body and theres a few plus from my obd harness not plugged in and idk which one it is...i was thinkin about pullin the little plugs out of the harness plug and wiring them right to the pins???

          Try jumping the car and put the negative to the postive nd the postive to the negative should reset the whole car :D
