i have a 97 accord that obtains a puddle of water after it rains on the driverside, then if i were to turn the a/c on water leaks from both sides under dash. a few people told me its the drain tubes BUT i have no fu.ck.ing clue how to unclog them. when i lifted the car in the air i seen the drain tubes coming out of the firewall but i believe they run behing the a/c condensor behind the glove compartment, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I am not positive buuuuuut in my old veedub the same thing would happen. Try lookin under the black plastic shroud that is under and around the windshield wipers, there is probably a bunch of decomposing leaves and pine needles there clogging up the drain path causing it to fill with water and drain into your ventilation intake. My work: Flikr.

The A/C leak is from your drain tube being clogged as previously stated, the easiest way to try & free the blockage is, blow compressed air up threw the drain breefly, then you should have a rush of water that comes out. If not you may have to pull the box out & manually remove the debris like Astroboy stated.
As far as the rain leak, it could be the Sunroof drains like JDMChop stated, & I have also seen many Windshields leak, from being replaced, & sometimes even the Originals.
Water leaks are a pain in the ass, but you pull all the trim panels off on the drivers side, then set up a Hose & have someone spray all around the drivers side of the car while you are inside inspecting, & you should be able to track it down.13203

*test after done to make sure it works properly by adding water to the drain and seeing if it comes out the fender*Originally posted by H23VTECLUDE View PostThe A/C leak is from your drain tube being clogged as previously stated, the easiest way to try & free the blockage is, blow compressed air up threw the drain breefly, then you should have a rush of water that comes out. Ran into the same situation with an 02 Deville in the shop, floor was soaked, took out the blower motor, HUGE rush of water came out once the blockage was gone
