because the auto has the 3 wire iac valve on the t.b instead of on the back of the manifold like all obd1s which are 2 wire iacv

idk id get a good act hd clutch.. that would be good but you can get away with a stock one because its not much power but then again its all motor.. so its up to you bro.. the ex tranny is a good plus.. so is the y8 manifold.. but it should be good.. i did that to my y7 same shit with tranny, new clutch, manifold and tb and headers, and it made a huge difference the car actually had some balls then i ended up boosting it lol :) boost is great on it..

Get a good stage 2 clutch even though it isn't a lot of power for a few reasons. If you stay N/A you don't want to have the clutch slip and loose some of the power you would be putting to the ground. Also if you decide to go turbo it will allow you to keep the clutch you have vs. ripping your trans out again.

That being said I would think he would want the manual one because he is swapping over to obd1...but then again he has obd2 harness in the car prolly, rite? So an OBD1 chassis (or OBD0) would want a manual y8 intake manifold?*S14 Kouki *
