auto vtec question

i have the head,oil and water pump and the rods off of a d16z6 will bolt right up to a d16y8 non vtec and is there a auto v ecu its my girls car...motors shot and i cant expariment with it because she needs it to get a round and i have these parts laying around so i would appriciate it if anyone has any info

no i dont want to put a ls or anything else in it dont want to change mounts n shit just motor in and out and i know i would have to change the harnes or sensors for the head

i no the make a vtec auto ecu ithink its still a p28 but not sure

Yes there is, it has the extra circuit that controls the transmission that a manual p28 does not...most people don't want an auto p28 so if you find one it should be cheep.

a d16y8 is vtec a d16y7 is non vtec but idk if the parts are interchangeable

????? a d16y8 is vtec,along wit a d16z6...u prolly got a d16y7 non v,yes dey do make auto vtec ecu'z juss find an auto ex car,n no u cant interchange da y8 n z6 head partz dere different my friend tried n da car ran like shyt....
