when ever im gettin on it a little when ever vtec hits around 4000 my tranny grinds a little going into 3rd but i doesnt grind under 4000. but yesterday i was havin a little to much fun in the rain and missed the 3rd gear slot and grinded the shit out of it is my tranny shot????

Your 3rd syncro is Def. Worn, thats why it Grinds only in the Higher R's. If the syncro completely failed, then it would grind 3rd everytime.

For now, you can at least change the tranny oil to help you out with the grinding. Go with Honda MTF.. Always the best and noticeable when i use it. Or what you can also do is, start your car, push the shifter towards 3rd gear, but dont press the clutch and just rev your motor alittle bit. Good luck.User name is no longer in use!
