I have looked around on h-tech, hondaswap, d-sreies, and a few others and can't seem to find a write up for puttin a d16z6 into a 90 chassis (for modifications to the harness to convert to obd1 to be specific, not worried about the conversion to mpfi...I have a few writeups on that topic saved). I pulled codes from the ecu and I think I need to check the wiring for the map and iat sensor but have no referance. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Nah, I am broke as a joke, that's why I'm doin it myself (I am just trying to un-************ this harness). Car runs and all but am getting codes 3 (map), 10 (iat), 17 (speed sensor), 21 (vtec), and 41 (O2) of which 17 and 21 are expected seeing how they are not hooked up. I think 3 and 10 are wiring related along with 41...or 41 could be being thrown due to the 3 codeMy work: Flikr.

Holy hell my head hurts! So I shuffled around a few wires and have a few more questions now. As far as I understand the sensor on the back side of the block (t-stat housing) is for the fan. The sensor on the back of the intake manifold is the intake air temp sensor, the one on the tb that has the plug facing down is the idle air control valve, and the one on the top of the tb is the MAP. Please correct me if I am wrong because when I put things where they should go (as far as I can tell) the car won't do anything.My work: Flikr.

Ok, well the only one I am not positive of is the one to turn the fan on/off but am pretty sure it is on the t-stat housing on the back of the block and the one for the ecu is the front of the block...also found out how to test everything so I should have some resolution over the weekend (fingers crossed).My work: Flikr.
