So like the title says my car is running rich, like plumes of soot/carbon when I floor it...the back of the car is all black it is so bad (and the car is yellow). Also there are splatter marks in my garage and on my things in the back of the garage from when I rev it in the morning (the splatters are from liquified soot/carbon but I don't know what it is being liquified with, perhapse the moisture in the exhaust). The engine is a d16z6 running on a p28 ecu and the harness is obd1. I run the car on 87 octane (after the swap I ran some 93 with injector cleaner). When I did the engine swap I made sure there were no bad vaccume lines going on the car so I don't think it's that. I think the moron who owned the car before me fu(ked with the FPR on the fuel rail. I am going to check the plugs later and swap the TB from the old block to see if the sputtering stops (old TB has a new TPS). Thanks for the help guys!

Well swapped the TB with new TPS and the other sensor on there and the car is still running like crap (when cold). Any idea's? And does anybody know what the sensor is on the left side of the block on the head near the coolant neck (I think it has 3 pins on it)? I have nothing hooked up to it...My work: Flikr.
