dude a 57 trim regardless who makes it ebay, garrett, greddy w/e is still the same size turbo why buy one for 500 bucks then change some of the guts for another 200 bucks when you coulda got a 50 trim from the start for less.
and im not trying to break your balls but this info is wrong, and a stock d15 making 278 on 12 psi is nearly impossible is built my friend. you can only see those numbers with b-h-k series and b and h will only last so long tell they spit out a rod are blow a sleeve.

Is it possible go-autoworks was using meth/water injection to keep it going? Maybe it was built, dyno'd, and then it died...

running meth or race gas would save the motor so it is possible but still its tuff on a d series...but yet again cant sleep on them D's

You've been wrong in every post.

A Garrett journal bearing T4/T04 .60 trim 60/30 housing turbo will spool on a D series around 3000 rpm. Personally I think .57's are too small and there's a lot more to gain from a .60 if you sacrifice a couple hundred RPMs for spool time.
