Funny enough I agree with everyone's angle. But if you plan on selling the car who cares about sending the vins. Bty the car looks great, and for a good price .. and a vin check doesn't say if it is a pos !! Could need bushings, clutch , head gaskets , no heat etc.. So you have to go in person reguardless.. so just go

never once has someone said no im not giving you the vin or have i denied anyone...people can do as they please and cars would probably going to be sold anwyays but for me if someone doesnt want to give me their vin...red/yellow flag goes up for me....

obviously you must see the car in person to check out everything yourself but if issues come up on a carfax report, i would be like nah its not worth my time.. especially if ur driving a long distance to check it out

Come on guys. What's really the big deal on asking for a vin? Especially if you live far away to look at the car. You go on ebay every car for sale there have a vin. cars.com , same thing. Trying to get a carfax is pretty much part of a transaction these days . You can't just go to Honda with a vin and get a copy of the key. U need to show proof of ownership. A vin isn't as sacred as some people on here are making it out to be. Most vins are located on the top of the dash. Anybody can go up to ur car and get ur vin.

If he has a for sale thread on this site, that makes him a seller. It doesn't matter if I bought something from him or not. I TRIED to buy something for him so he is a seller. IF he really needed it gone ASAP there should be no problem with giving me a vin. Some people on this site are very ignorant. Thanks for the support guys! End the fuckery!
