I'll start off by saying that I have done plenty of business with Pete and he has never let me down. He is a honest person. That motor that he sold you for $350 was in his car and it was running perfectly fine with the exception of it smoking on start up.he did a trade for his car and the motor was already installed. He is not a mechanic at all and if he said that all it needed was valve seals,its because thats what someone told him. I'm sure he never took the valve cover off to notice any damage.no offense but how can we tell that this is the same motor and not you just trying to get over on him? I'm not picking sides but you should have definetly took a look at this before taking money out of your pocket.I was helping my friend a few weeks back to take off his type r head and he has similar damage to his cylinder head BUT the motor ran perfectly fine.most people don't even know they have damage until they open it up and inspect everything. I know Pete is cool people's and might want to help you in some way but it is a sold as is sale with no warranties.
