long story short.....

kid sold me the ls he has for sale

said it was rebuilt, which is was... but horribly!!!

soon as i got it in and fired had knock and slap

boroscoped the 1st cyl to find serious scoring

my guess is whoever put it together didnt ridge ream the cyl
causing the rings to push up farther from the bearings and...booom on the first stroke....

hopefully this dude will give me my money back as this situation is very unjust....

This is just a bad situation for everyone. Im sure he paid someone to put that motor together so In his heart he was sure that it ran. Now he is kinda of right that he didnt guarantee the motor to start up. Im sure he had no idea this was going to happen.
I think it would be fair if you got at least half of your money back out of good faith.

weather he had someone else put it together or not...if your selling a motor then it should run fine with no bullshit unless otherwise implemented.....

but in this case, he said it would it run didnt say anything to me when i picked it up like it might not run, im not sure what the deal is with it, ect nothing at all!!! just sold a cement block that is nothing more then a boat anchor!!

if you dont know the condition of the item you are selling then 1 you shouldnt be selling it or 2 state so in your posting, not play people like ps3 to buy your junk!!!!

I told you that I never had it running and I didnt rebuild it so the motor was sold as is. I gave you the complete motor with 2 distributers and both intake and exhaust manifolds for 300. Now please tell your friends to stop texting me and threating to smash my car.
