I bought the k24a8 he had listed for sale. Was told it ran mint. No knocks, ticks, or smoke. I went to meet him in New Haven. After waiting an hour n a half for him to get there he showed up with the motor. We went to turn it over. At one point the engine was turned CCW, and then wouldnt spin pasta a certain point, I called a friend he said chances were from it being spun CCW it jumped timing and thats what was causing the problem. So I bought the engine and took it home. I checked the timing and it was dead on. I couldnt check the timing because it was missing the crank pulley. So I put the cams facing up. Pulled the tension off. Took the chain off the cams. Turned the motor over. And same shit.

Long story short, I got beat.

Guess it's partially my fault for taking his word. And I should have walked away when it woldn't spin.

Oh well. Lesson learned.

Just wanted to post my experience with him and let others be aware.

i sent him a text aout a hour ago but didn't get a response. But at the same time if he sold me a bad motor I doubt he has intentions of fixing it. Otherwise he woulda told me it had a problem.

Sorry to hear that bro.... but i tried warning everyone about him on the thread for this particular motor. i layed out my whole experience with this scumbag and some dumbass fucking mod erased my comments saying it was unessecary bashing. smfh......... now how do you feel about my bashing dumbass. good looks on getting another member a raw deal. good luck ls/vtec
