so i change the headgasket on the z6 he sold me and i figured out that 3 of the head studs threds in the block are stripped so the block is pretty much garbage

Rough dude, I hate buying engines and finding out bad shit. Ruins EVERYTHING. I picked up a cheap b18, COVERED IN OIL, only to get home and clean it, finding out there were stress cracks all over the block making it useless. luck of the draw sometimes with used engines. -

bump... i almost got fucked over by el abusador yesterday... kid has a z6 swap.. tells me nothing is wrong with it states it mint.. i travel from worcester to norwalk to find out it has rod knock... dude tried tellin me nah just needs a throwout bearing.. n tried tellin me brahh there's no bs here.. thats all you was feedin me was BS.. i aint stupid i know my shit.. no wonder no1 wanted the engine cuz it boutta shoot a rod thru ya block any minute..
