So yesterday around noon I hit him up about the B16 swap he had for sale on here. Got all the info on it, etc. I told him I had cash in hand and wanted to come get it.
Day 1:
He told me he was working and got out at 5:00, okay, that's cool work comes first. So we set it up that I was going to call him at 5:30 and come pick it up. 5:30 comes around, I give him a call, no answer. So I figured maybe he was too busy to answer and texted him telling him I was still coming to get it. His response was "k", so I left my house and met up with my brother.
My brother had borrowed the work truck from his boss and we headed down that way. I called him to tell him I'm on my way and he said he got caught up at work and he should be out within the hour. So we figured fuck it, we already got the truck, we'll wait. An hour goes by and I text him and he tells me he's swamped at work and doesn't know how long he'll be. Then said if he doesn't make it by 8:30 then we'll do it tomorrow (today).
So 8:30 came and after sitting in the truck for 3 hours and wasting putting $20 in the tank, we went home.
Day 2:
This morning I text him to make sure everything is a go for tonight. He told me we're good and its still on. So I told him to make sure because we waited around for 3 hours and wasted $20 for no reason and I didn't wanna go through that again. No response, figured he was busy at work, whatever. I texted him a little while later and asked if it was definite and he proceeded to tell me that he was on the way to get his truck and then when he gets back the swap is mine.
So my bro had to beg to use the work truck again, and we ended up getting it. So I hit him up asking what time and he said was talking to his boss. So I texted him, yet again, and asked what the deal was because now we were playing the waiting game again. He told me to just forget about it because his boss suspended him from work so he needs a car.
But if the motor was already out of the car how was he getting to work in the first place? Idk, his story could very well be true. Who knows, and if that's the case, I am sympathetic. But all I know is that I have been on this dude for the past 2 days about this swap and now I got fucked out of getting it. It honestly wasn't even about "wanting" the swap, I actually needed it.
So to sum it up, he seemed honest about the swap. Plus I had vouches for it from other people. But the part for getting a hold of him and him following through sucked. So I can't really say he's a bad seller, I know there's people who know him or have done good business with him before. But my experience sucked.
