On a better note Canibus is a good ass dude. Always has parts for sale and this is THE FIRST thread against him. If JRSC18psi was there and he checked it out right you have your answer right there. He has good vouches and if he said the engine was good its clearly an install issue.

I helped him install the motor, but wasn't there when he turned it on i was there to see 1 of the rods to be bent. I don't know how it is possible to install a engine wrong and have rod bend without driving it to me it doesn't seem to make sense. in all reality i guess if you cranked the motor over by hand with a ratchet to make sure rotating assembly is good. would of been able to tell if anything was wrong with it before he put it in. i just don't see how rods just bend never heard of that

If he crossed a coolant line on the intake manifold and coolant got into a cylinder it would cause a rod to bed because you cannot compress coolant.

It is known as hydrolocking..

Hydrolock occurs when a volume of liquid greater than the volume of the cylinder at its minimum (end of the piston's stroke) enters the cylinder. Since most common liquids are uncompressable the piston cannot complete its travel; either the engine must stop rotating or a mechanical failure must occur.

Just read this post and have to say. NO one is perfect and mistakes happen, doesn't matter how many years you been doing swaps you could have made a mistake. Now he said he would give you rods take and fix it, if you can't fix it then you shouldnt swapping engines 300 dollars for a engine great price. And if your so good at swap you should have checked out the motor first compression and valves take his help and stop with the bs post

i know canibus and let me tell you have yet to see anything shady come out from him. NOW you had single slam that said a comment on page 2 and he is a mechanic for a very respectable shop here in CT. And stated facts about coolant in the block. I think you did something wrong and hydro locked the motor. Also you have a very respectable tuner stating he thinks you did something wrong. But then again i dont know shit about cars. I cant even do a gosh darn 7 sec pass with the starlet i fail lol

i know , all my friends know and alotta vouches saw the car running.
so i knew i sold a good motor at a good price. yea i was offering rods
piston etc cause i know it sux to have shit get fuked up . wen i showed up
at his house my boy i brought said it in 5 mins it was hydrolocked. and i havent seen any responses on here so im guessing what went wrong was discovered? hopefully block wasnt that damaged i still have afew ls rods and misc parts

hahahaha rob walkers a liar, yup he has been.doing swaps for.10 years but always and.i repeat always had to call in his goon squad for help, he has blown up at least 5 motors to my knowledge prolly more now.... he hacks up hondas and is a scam artisit...

ps rob u dont work hard for ur money ur 26 with three kids oldest being 6 and u just started.paying ur child support on them cuz u just finally got a job, YOU MOMMY WORKS HARD FOR YOUR MONEY

ok this is the first time i have read this post but to be honest im confused with the situation to im not gonna get into a pissing match about peoples charachters cause im cool with both of them known rob for years i taught him how do do swaps back in like 2000-2001 has done almost every swap with me on my own personal car never had any serious issues like this ever happen but at the same time ive known cannabis for awhile always been a cool kid never done any fucked up deals with me so i can honestly vouch for both of them....... as for this situation everything that cannabis stated as to how it went down is correct except that i did a full rotation on crank i moved it by hand which as anyone knows will not go 100% because of compression we did take the valve cover off motor was clean so we agreed to take it i was not there on startup so i dont know exactly what happened but i am the one who found the bent rod and cracked sleeve when the oil pan came off .... cannibas did message me but me and rob werent on good terms at that point so i didnt respond figured cannabis would contact him directly so if you guys wanna blame me for that part of it then fine but as to what actually happened with install whether it was and error or junk motor i cant say for sure
