Looks like Neil isn't at fault... Cus I know for a fact eg rear disk fit on any ek trust... And it looks like u don't even kow what ur doing cus u can't even put ur drums back on! With that being said it sounds like u didnt put it in right somehow even tho there's only one way to put it in lol and if u inspected it before u bought it how come u didn't see it was bent but ur wife that "doesnt know shit" noticed it?
