All Im saying is if the car is mint witch i assume because u bought it why not keep it is a $13k car I under stand the resale and all that besides the title how is the car ? and what would you do if you get the money back ? buy another one with 90k for the same price. I work for a car dealership any title that has been marked up besides DMV voids all sale so with him rubbing out the "s" voids the title he has to go get it reprinted himself

OK now since you work there, would a 00 itr clean title and 00 itr rebuilt title both be worth the same ? NO right? ANd do you see people walk away from cars because it is rebuilt

ITR r hard to value because they r very rare a clean itr with 60k miles worth retail about 14500 if the car mint same car with a salvage title worth 10000 thats if it were inspected after the rebuilt by DMV and id never sell a car salavge just the integraty of teh car is not the same if u get in a accident the car "could" just crush u know

Was informed that I would require a nj lawyer to defend my case. Spoke to a lawyer n he charges 250 phr or 1/3 of the total amount. So let's say I get granted 10k at court, he keeps over 3300. And even if i loose I still have to pay. Sux that I am in a loose , loose situation.it's just not worth it to me. I will keep calling other lawyers and see what they say.I had my girl call them n they agreed to get me another title. So I will resell the vehicle but unlike them, I will be honest and post it up for sale as rebuilt. If any1 has any good info on me getting a good affordable lawyer , please shoot me a pm. You are right I would be mad as hell too because it is a investment gone bad. idk I love the car if i had the 10k I would buy it off you rebuild or not. All I would do is find out what was repaired and inspect it as long as it was repaired professional it would be in the clear for me. Do you know how many cars are rebuilt by dealers and never stat it on the title ? tons my boy Eric bought a 06 rsx for 12k clean title and all untill I came over and showed him his q panel was replaced and painted. You would have never known if they did a better wet sand job. Well good luck to you with the N.J court shit its hard to handle shit like this when you live in another state

i just bought a car in ny first thing i did was run a carfax who cares if its 35$ u get all that back in the long run but the car checked out clean it was in a minor accident but nothing big i heard to many bad stories and 10k thats alot of money to lose out on sorry to hear that shit hope all goes well in court
