You know, i always write up my own " bill of sale " i guess you can call it, with most serious things, like cars, or trades, as long as the person buying or trading KNOWS whats wrong with it if anything is wrong with it, then they should sign that, so if something like this did happen, you have it on paper STATING that it was sold as is, and that it was final, you know what im saying?

I would drop the crank and see how bad its messed up. If its not too bad save yourself some $$ and just do new bearings.

MY buddy's LS did that recently and we dropped the crank and it was BARELY scored up so we did a new set of King bearings in there and the car has been great since.

I know both parties but like stated in previous posts she got a test drive and she knew it had a smoking problem and still purchased it so i dont think nick is to blame for that. SOLD AS IS! no offense to anybody but im just speaking the truth.

she bought the motor over a month ago, had she put it in the next week or so then it was fucked then you can argue alittle better but its a month later whether shes right or not you have to take the loss if you waited that long. nick could have put some thick ass oil in and some oil treatment to make it run normal but you can never tell now. how long was the car test driven? if it was 5 minutes you can kiss the test drive fight goodbye cuz 5 minutes isnt shit. if it was atleast 50 miles or so then yea its on her. nick seems like a legit dude, miss jdm is legit. this cant even be argued because its over a month that the motor was sold.

First of all I test drove it n picked it up a week after, who knows what he did wit it before I picked it up... and he could have put lucas in it, like previously stated engines don't knock as loud when cold or when lucas is put in n ya I may have bought it a few weeks ago but I just put it in 2days ago cuz I was still driving wit my gsr turbo setup... never hit vtec n babied it for the 20miles I drove it what could I have done to blow it up???

N I only test drove it for less than 5min when the car had been cold... I kno this because I checked the temp after he started it to to see if it was a cold start or not
