well it sucks to here man. but i dont know eather side but i do know if you are buyin a car you need to cheack it out good befor you hand over cash. and when you hand over cash you buyin what you see.

and if some one tells you a car smokes cuz of a oil change and you fall for it that is kida on you!

as for the motor blowing well that is hard to work with no one knows if you were or warnt pushing it hard on your way home and you side it was low on oil so that will blow it easy.
if you havea d16y8 they a known for bad motor because of the poor oiling system so low oil hard driveing and the motor will blow up.

but as other said you are buyin a car on the street and it is hard to get any kinda money back with out a fight.
