i drive a 91 hatch cable tranny and i decided to tighen the cable then it wouldnt go into gear. then ihear that if the clutch isnt adjusted perfectly it wont go into gear. so 2 turns at a time i finally got it to work. just sayin check the cable out. no to loose not to tight. also put it in gear and start it (in an open space) if it trys to take off then its deff clutch adj.Honda sucks. Over priced junk.

def clutch cable needs to be adjusted. kbrowns car did the same thing. And did exactly what your saying. We swapped the cable and nothing. Then we just adjusted it little by little and it worked mint after that.Money ain't a thing! Crew Member #1
