I would not recommend anybody buys anything off this guy. I bought his 91 (which it is actually a 90, first fail for not even knowing the year of his own car) hatch off him. First off it was painted with zero prep (no sanding, primer, taping/papering), fail. Then he had a mini me swap that lost a rod and put a hole in the block on the ride home (rite after buying it), fail again. Then he said he would source a new engine...fail. I found it. Then he said he would come with me to pick it up...fail. I threw it in my audi. Some lame excuse followed along with the offer to kick me some money and help do the swap...double fail. I paid it all and did the swap with a buddy. He had vtak hooked up to an on/off switch electric taped to the shifter...fail. I sourced the correct ecu (he had a p72 instead of a p28) and wired it up the rite way. After I got the engine swapped I discovered that he installed 2 of the 4 springs upside down=fail (haven't fixed it yet). About 3 weeks after owning the car the trans locked up because it had about 1/2 quart of fluid in it (it was regular gear oil too, not honda mtf or 10w40). FAIL. When I pulled the trans out (the first time) I discovered he jb welded the rear trans bolt in that he stripped out and the other two were broken (one still in the trans and the other one broke the trans housing)...fail. And the weld job he did on the exhaust looked like he sprayed it with silly string...fail. there are a few other trivial things but I digress. If it was only a thing or two wrong I wouldn't have posted about Rob but his piss poor workmanship looks to be trendy and I would think that pretty much anything he touched would be sub-standard at best. I think the biggest fail though is on me because I bought it. lol!

Yeah, I should have but there was no way to know the timer was up on this thing, but the oil that was in the engine when I bought it (looked like black pen ink) and the lacking of a speedo cable and emissions sticker (hadn't been done in 2 years) kinda tipped me off that it wasn't in the best of shape. You know what they say...hind site is 20/20 ;)My work: Flikr.
