ok now that ppl are tryna get on me for what i say its my turn to explain.
he has a family and has a full time job traveling around CT installing security system and stuff. so when he gets home his number one priority is spending time with family not jumping online. im just saying he prolly hasent seen this yet but when he does he'll come clean. dont jump on me for standing up for the guy. hes a good dude. adim wont allow this so you know he'll come good.

Who's trying to get on you? All I said was that I also have a family and a full time job, so take a deep breath and calm down pal. It is my fault for not inpecting the head. If you had reading comprehension skills you would see that I already admitted that a few times. That still does not justify his lack of communication (still no word from him by the way) or the fact that I still don't have the caps that were supposed to come with the head. Or the fact that this head looks like it came straight from the junkyard when he stated in his description that it was "clean" and "mint". Besides, when inquiries about the head were made, communication was excellent and I got almost immediate responses from him. Now that the sale was complete there is NO communication at all. What a convenient time to be "busy"...

As was said by a previous member, I have a family, and full time business to run so I got jammed up this week after we spoke....my bad for not letting you know that I wasn't going to make it......MY bad that a couple of detectives from Hartford asked me to come right away to pull video from a robbery that a client of mine almost died in.....that's more important to me than a couple of cam caps...........


Now to the real story......he pm's me to sell him the head, I said cool, and we are set for sunday.....I see him, I tell him here's the head, the cams, the intake manifold, the valve cover (99), even the headbolts. everything is bagged, and I have the head on a box....I give it to you, and I say this is what it is, and I told you that the motor was pulled from a car that said 79K, and that I PUT 25K on it.....if you want I can provide the PM that I sent you......you gave the the cash, we shook hands and that was that..............


Monday morning, you call me, and leave me voicemail, saying that you are missing 3 caps....I go to my car, and viola, they where in the trunk, so I PM you and say that ok, we can PROBABLY meet after 6PM, FOR YOU TO CALL ME AROUND 3PM if you can make it.........so at 3pm I got no call, so I left to Mass to do quotes.........while there you TEXT me saying that you looked at the head, and that you don't want it because it's DIRTY?? Get the f$ck out of here bro, because the head is dirty? I give you a head that has just a little over 100K, a head that I told you that I had yanked out about 3-4 months ago, and that was sitting in storage, in a Repair shop, on a bench and anyone that knows me around here knows the place....not some backyard mechanic bullshit like you said...so for $100 you got everything I gave you>? I should have thrown that head in the parts washer and make it look brand new.....my bad....then I can be accused of being missleading.

U got mad because I told you that I'm not a store, that if the head came out to be bad, then no problem, I will give you the full $$$ back and my apologies, but other than that you own it, I know for a fact that the head has no issues because the motor was fine when we took it apart..

Now on Tuesday, you called me 6 times while I was trying to close sales, and it was very distracting.......I texted you and said today after 6PM, and at 4:30pm I get the call and to be honest, you where the last thing in my mind at that moment because the client happens to be a friend to me, so I was a little upset at the moment....I get home real late, and on Wed I was also tied up....I get home late last night, and I see this thread..........so I purposely ignored it, becase unlike what most people think, I'm not going to "delete" or "Ban" this thread or you, because that would just be ignorant in my part and it will look like the site is a joke, so I let it ride......Admin called me this morning and asked me to settle this, which I have every intention to....so you'll get a call tomorrow evening..........

With this said, please all off you, leave it be, because at this point is between him and me, no need to keep adding wood to the fire....

I have every single PM regarding our transaction and reviewed all of them and do not see where you mentioned that you put 25k on it ANYWHERE. Please post the PM. Also, if the head has over 100k on it, why did your for sale thread state that it had "a hair under 90k on it" when it was really over 100k? Why did you not state this? Again please post this PM or PM it to me.

Not only was it dirty, but there was oil in exhaust port #2, which I made you aware of. That means SEALS. You never mentioned that in your thread or made me aware of it. I was looking for a head that could be bolted on, NOT a head that I had to bring to a machine shop and have jetwashed or a head that needs valve seals. Especially when its supposed to be "clean" and "mint" and have " a hair under 90k on it". None of these 3 things are true. You just admitted it. It is impossible to deny that these are valid points and are all things that YOU stated. Please refer to your for sale thread. You are correct. It is missleading. If I mislead a buyer and he requested a refund, I would refund. That's just me.

What actually had me most frustratrated was your lack of communication. I explained that this was holding me up and I get no response for days, who wouldn't be mad?
I don't like to be ignored. A simple PM, text or 30 second call was in order.

I understand that we are all human and situations like the one with your client/friend take priority over most no doubt, but how was I supposed to know that if it wasn't communicated to me? Seems like this all could have been avoided with a simple reponse. It does not solve the issue of the head being the total opposite of what was described however, you admitted yourself that it was misleading...
