  • Ebay Tri Y headers

Just want to get some thoughts about the headers. Not many have the money to get the actual Hytech headers. I'm just wondering how the quality of the headers are. Would you guys get these headers?

I had wrapped ebay 4-1 headers w/ 2.5 inch collector that was bottomed out and still did good on the 1/4. Now I got the 98 spec ITR headers.

i think they are fine, and also think you don't need $600 headers, unless you're making extreme amounts of power.

Looks wise it might have a slight discoloration, but still does work. The only issue some would have is clearance issues if the ride is slammed.

Im def a bargain shopper, and I do like to find the best deals.

Im gon to have to say these knockoff headers from what Ive been reading are great.

-Ill do some research on H-T and find some links, but I think generally everyone is happy with them.

I found a knockoff ITR header the other day for like 149.00, anyone have any info on that?

I would be more concerned with fitment than anything. I'd make sure that it bolts to the head correctly and the ports match. I bought one of these a few years back and the flange holes had to be drilled out so that it would bolt to the head. If they guarantee fitment without modification, then shit, for a couple hundred bucks, I say it's worth it.

the tri y headers have bigger tubing compared to my itr headers. the only problem is that you would have to modify you cat or eliminate it because the bottom pipe to the collector is longer. i put the tri y headers on and it fit just fine, no clearance issues with the oil pan and radiator fan.
