integra issues

97 integra ls turbo check engine light flashs and car smokes pretty bad but 2 days ago it was running mint not one bit of smoke and no cel car wasnt driven car was sitting any ideas help or info is much appreciated I have no clue where to start could the smoking be cause of too much pressure due to im not running a catch can setup??? Idk im lost

If the cel is flashing that means you have a misfire. What color smoke? If it's black it's just unburnt gas which would most likely be a spark problem, easy fix. If it's blue that means you're burning oil, you'll have to take the engine apart to figure out what went bad. If it's white you blew a head gasket which wouldn't surprise me if it's an old ls turbo with stock head studs. Gl
