  • need help: 98 ls swap into 92 eg

    ok people this is the dilema.... i bought a 98 ls swap and im wondering if i would be able to just swap it in and drive or do i have to change anything? i did some research online but some people says it will work some say i have to change a few things..... idk what to believe.. help from any1 that knows what they are talking about would be greatly appreciate it! thx in advance

    not much need to get an obd1 distributer and alternator,integra shift linkage, integra axels,integra motor mounts and the t bracket

      u need 94-01 teg mounts, axles halfshaft nd obd1 ecu .. depending on the halfshaft u use u need the same driverside axle i used a da shift linkage and it bolted rite up .. dunno wut else u need to no but jus ask nd i'll help ya out

          u basically need everything from the integra.. mounts,axels,shift link, and engine harness and all of the engine components..

            don't forget injectors obd1 as well. which you may want to use from your stock d for the mean time. aside from that your pretty much ready to go with the rest of what atirado said. good luck!

                    like they said, ecu, distributor, and injectors. Last i knew the alternators were the same plug. Now the distributor you can re-wire the plug to obd1 or get a jumper. The obd2 dizzy works, just wont plug in.

                      just re wire the distributor cut the plug off a OBD1 harness and rewire from obd2 to 1
                      -Riding by myself well really not really, so heavy in the trunk make the car pop a wheelie-

                        If you have a complete obd2 swap with harness you dont need to swap anything over. You can keep your dizzy, injectors and alternator. The harness will plug right up. If you did get mounts with the swap your all set. If not the tranny mount from the single can be used on the ls and you can take the bracket off your single and use your single motor mount for the driver side as well. Shift linkage bolts right up and exhuast/ axles also.
