I run Rotella 5w40 synth in mine.

In fact, that stuff is so good, I run it in every car I own.

Don't go to far outside your motor builders weight recommendations, but a little heavier in the summer and a little lighter in the winter is okay.

Its also important to change it in intervals that are much shorter than Honda recommends if you are modding/abusing your motor. Most of my cars get a change every 1000 miles, and I have happy motors.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

The cheapest oil you can find.. I have to do a series of oil changes during the break in.. Start up. 200 miles. 500 miles. 1000 miles. 2000 miles. If I don't break it in this way it going to have to rebuild it again... ur gona have to do like 5 oil changes the first 2 weeks.. oil is oil.. ask any tuner..

And get a magnetic drain plug.. the reason u have to change the oil so many times.. is there is going to be a lot of medal shavings your going to have to keep flushing out.. do not beat on it.. untill after the 1000 mile oil change.. rev it high and let it slow down by itself.. down shifting.
