  • b16 skunk2 intake mani help

I'm having 2 technical issues with my skunk2 manifold...

1.) For the sensor that bolts to the fuel rail on a 2000 b16. Where does the hose plug in to? The stock manifold has a spot on it to attach the hose. The skunk2 mani does not.

2.) The coolant hose that goes from the intake mani to the back of the thermostat housing has an extra smaller nipple on it. What attaches to that?

    PLEASE NO SPECULATIONS!

If someone can direct me to a write up that would be awesome.

I have searched and have come up with nothing.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I've heard of people tapping the IAT hole and using a 1/8 fitting as a source of vaccum for the evap purge solenoid. As for the coolant fitting a lot of people just plug it. I would put a hose on it and T it into the small hose coming off the throttle body. Only because I see a lot of coolant plug deteriorate and crack over time. Causing a leak.

I was thinking the same thinb aboht ”T” ing Off The coolant hose to The TB.

Tapping The hole for The IAT sensor sounds good. But i already lut The mani on The motor and dont want metal shavings to get into The head.

Do you know where i can purchase a 1/8 fitting other than online?

What do you think about this idea?

You will also have to install a T fitting into the PCV hose from the manifold so that you can run a new hose to the EVAP solenoid.

Just something i came across on google

The t fitting on the Pcv is what I would do. If you don't care about looks. It will look cleaner with a fitting In the manifold but if the mani is on the engine. I would T it. I have T'd it before with no problems.
