  • ls swap?

    Ok I got a 96 hx coupe that im swapping wit a 2000 ls...my question is wat harness do I need to put this swap in my civic...I have my stock ob2a vtec harness and tha 2000 ls harness and thats obd2b I think...and if I use tha vtec harness would it through a check engine cause tha vtec plugs are not plugged...im gonna b useing a step down harness wit a chipped obd1 p75...any help would b great, thanx ctv

    No but hx uses a 5 wire primary o2 that ur gonna have a cel for

      You can use your stock HX harness with no issues. Also you're not going to have any CEL for VTEC not being plugged in since the P75 isn't a VTEC ecu. So it's not going to looking for the solenoid or oil pressure switch.

              Is there any sensors on tha ls that are not on my harness? And wat tha hell is tha difference between obd2a and obd2b? Lol

                  The difference between obd2a and obd2b are the ECU plugs. Because two of them are part of your engine harness. If you're changing the harness it HAS to be out of a 96-98 civic. And no there shouldn't be any extra sensors. Nothing important anyways lol.
