  • Help 1/2 the prob fixed !!!!

Ok ctvtec i have a running b20 v in my coupe right now and it's ass when it first starts it surges and dies when u gas it until u let it warm up and then it will rev up but lags when you gas it now when ur driving it it spuddderes under 2 grand like its not getting enough fuel but know I'm getting good fuel and spark. Now since I've went from lsv to b20v it's always kinda bucked when you give gas or let go of gas could this be a junk iacv ??? Cuz both motors did this now the lsv wasn't as bad but the b20v is horrible and started throwing code for coolant temp when that was always fine and vtec isn't popping now replaced that sensor and still got code and yesterday it completely shit the bed throwing codes for the first time 14 and 6 which is coolant temp and iacv valve
I'm buying new iacv and coolant temp sensor today but until then I'm clueless and wondering if anyone has dealt with any bullshit like this before
    Thanks ctvtec!!!!!!!

    UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!

coolant temp sensor only had one wire connected... the ground was ripped a few inches back and that's why I was getting the check engine. fixed the wire and now I have no check engines at all!!!! but still no VTEC!! and she still spudderes a good amount. any ideas ANYONE????!!!!! this cant just be the motor and ive ran thu everything and am out of ideas plz someone gimi your 2 cents

well to b fair it was a wiring issue not the sensor itself, ill check the oil pan but what explains the spuddering at low end?

Change your tps I had the same problem in my type r ek low end spudders no vtec and rev limiter stoping at 5k....

Ps...make sure u have oil if not that can be the prob do to not enough oil going to the vtec solenoid. Speaking from future experience
