  • B20vtec lsvtec helppp !!!!!!!!!'m despite

Ok ctvtec i have a running b20 v in my coupe right now and it's ass when it first starts it surges and dies when u gas it until u let it warm up and then it will rev up but lags when you gas it now when ur driving it it spuddderes under 2 grand like its not getting enough fuel but know I'm getting good fuel and spark. Now since I've went from lsv to b20v it's always kinda bucked when you give gas or let go of gas could this be a junk iacv ??? Cuz both motors did this now the lsv wasn't as bad but the b20v is horrible and started throwing code for coolant temp when that was always fine and vtec isn't popping now replaced that sensor and still got code and yesterday it completely shit the bed throwing codes for the first time 14 and 6 which is coolant temp and iacv valve
I'm buying new iacv and coolant temp sensor today but until then I'm clueless and wondering if anyone has dealt with any bullshit like this before
    Thanks ctvtec!!!!!!!

naH ALL the sensors are stock never even unplugged and vtec is wired right to the ecu
and vtec was poping great on the lsv set up but still had the buck feeling when giving gas and letting off the gas
now with the b20v it has a surging idle and in ANY gear if you hold the gas steady it surges back n forth like a mother ****** and now im getting the 2 codes being thrown
and as of today it wont start unless I give it a vacuum leak so it idles a 2grand surging like it never has before
        someone plz help

Tap the iacv with something if idle changes theres ur problem as far as bucking and spuders it could be a bad dizzy or ignition timing is off also check ur cam timing how much can u rev it?

Sounds like all the issues will involve vacuum, coolant level and the throttle body settings.
Vacuum - check vacuum lines from throttle body to plenum and FPR.
Coolant - Coolant level and improper coolant system pressures can cause issues.
IAC - yeah, just change that to be smart.
Throttle Body - check the idle adjustment on the throttle body.
