My boy got this code yesterday and his car shut off. Looked it up evap system. Car cranks but won't start any help will be good. What should he be looking at and how could he figure out what's wrong with it.

Po1457 is a evap leak on tank side most likely ur canister vent valve ...this def qont make the car not start though looks like u have other issues also! Check n c if u have spark n fuel n go from there GL!
