  • b20v in ek bogging

whats goin on ctvtec been having some issue with my motor ever since i swapped it i tried numerous things and still havent figured out what it is its a obd2 b20v in a 2000 ek ever since i swapped it into my ek it hasnt ran like it should its fine when i give it a lil gas but when i give it alot or floor it, it bogs out badly it cant be the motor its self because when it was in my EG i had no problem with it but as soon as i put it in the ek its been giving me that issue

im using an obd2b single cam harness on it

im thinkkn it could be the fuel filter or the engine harness but to get a dohc harness would be a pain in the ass for my car

If you had it in your eg you were running it on obd1 when most sensors go bad on obd1 it won't effect the motor but now in a ek your running it in obd2 and with obd2 cars any stupid sensor gone bad will make your car run sloppy

yea man check ya harness i had 3 sensors pluged up the wrong way so im sure it has to be the harness bro as soon as i fixed it the lag an the sputtering stopped so my main guess is there and also check the iat wich will make you run like shiet that can also be bad keep us posted!!

is some sensor guaranteed. i cant remember which one they are but they're are 2 sensors on the intake manni and if they are swapped it can run like shit. theyre the same plug so its easy to plug it into the wrong one.
